Lollapalooza will raise $600,000 for Chicago Park District

Organizers of Lollapalooza said Thursday they expect this summer’s music festival will raise $600,000 for the Chicago Park District — or $200,000 more than the event raised for the park district last year.
Organizers said the event, which lasted two days last year, will be extended by one day, running Aug. 4-6 in Grant Park.
