When recreation professionals meet and fall in love, things happen. Brian Meyer of the Itasca Park District and Emily Meyer of Northwest Special Recreation Association are the proud parents of their first child Kaylee Sophia Meyer born at 6:56am today. She is 6 lbs, 3 ounces and 18 inches in length. She has lots of brown hair - perhaps more than Brian. According to Maryfran Leno at the Itasca Park District, everyone is feeling great and doing awesome. Welcome Kaylee Sophia Meyer to the world of parks and recreation. Congratulations Brian and Emily.
