Heather Weishaar, development and project director for the Illinois Park and Recreation Association, has just celebrated her 5 year anniversary with IPRA. Heather’s dedication over the years is apparent by her excellent work on the cooperative purchase program, commercial membership, Park Pursuit, the Foundation and a slew of other projects. She always maintains a positive outlook for the future and has the best interest of both professional and commercial members in mind.
When asked about the changes she’s seen over the past 5 years, Heather said, “I had no idea what I was getting into 5 years ago, but I have loved every minute of it! Being a part of IPRA’s growth years has been exciting – from agency mailings and fax-on-demand to blogs and the online cooperative purchase program – I can’t wait to see what’s next!”
Keep up the great work. In lieu of cards and gifts, Heather has requested that commercial memberships be bought and prizes be donated to the annual Silent Auction benefiting student scholarships! She couldn’t pass up an opportunity to try and sell you something!
