Lunch ‘N Learn: ID Theft & 1st Time Home Buyers

Posted on Monday 13 November 2006

The Illinois Park and Recreation Association has always been the leader in advancing the professional careers of its members. But, we understand that you have a life outside of work and there are many topics of interest that can contribute to a holistic life. IPRA is now introducing another educational and networking series packed with resources you can benefit from.

IPRA’s first Lunch ‘N Learn on November 29 will provide you with vital information on how to protect yourself from identity theft. In addition, learn the ins and outs of the home-buying maze and how to save money in the lending process. Gain knowledge of credit reports, credit scores, and the five factors that make up your credit score. Learn about the various programs with 100% financing and a non-profit company with a down payment assistance program for up to 6% of the purchase price.

Enjoy lunch with other park and recreation professionals while learning from a former park and recreation professional turned mortgage consultant. All this and more when you attend the Lunch ‘N Learn on Wednesday, November 29th!

Click here to download the registration form. The regular IPRA member rate is only $30 and $20 if registered by the early bird deadline of November 20.

Is there any chance of getting the Lunch ‘N Learn sessions duplicated, say at a SIPRA meeting? This would expand IPRA services to the members further south.

This is the first Lunch ‘N Learn we’re doing, but we will certainly consider holding them in various locations so that all of our members may benefit.
