Code of the West vs. Illinois Park Code

The Illinois Park Code is similar to “Code of the West” that Gary Cooper followed in “High Noon”.

Both codes have rules to follow. Incorrect application of the rules can produce negative and costly impacts. The park code is the guideline of state statutory laws which govern the powers, duties, and purposes to park districts in Illinois. The code is a collection of state laws that affect park districts, but is not all inclusive of all laws (state and federal) impacting park districts. Learn the rules to become the new sheriff in town. Humor and straight talk will be the solution to learning the code.

Performance Coaching – What’s In It For You?

During this session the concept and value of performance coaching will be presented, demonstrated, and critiqued. You will see the benefits of performance coaching by observing ESC role-playing. Finally, you will have the opportunity to role-play in a simulated Coach/Client relationship.
