Although CEUs are important, especially since many of our members need to renew their certification status, it does pose the question as to what's more valuable for our membership...the CEUs or the learning outcomes?

Because many people have access to post to the IPRA blog, training is needed to learn how to write in a way that further emphasizes the benefits of each of our offerings.

CEUs are just one of the benefits of attending workshops...being able to take what you've learned and act on it in the workplace is another thing. But, seeing your agency and your community advance is the ultimate goal. Communicating this to the members is essential and I appreciate you pointing it out.

Thank you for your comment Arnie.

Ruby does a great presentation. When I read "Need More CEU's?" heading, I had to ask, 'is that what is important? the collection of CEU's or is it getting more educated to improve our abilities? I think it is the latter and I hope we have not inadvertantly become the pursuers of CEU's as opposed to the pursuers of knowledge. Arnie
