Last year the National Recreation and Park Association received its largest grant in history from the NFL for a three year project to advance youth football in the United States. This grant supported the development of a National Inventory of public youth football facilities and programs.

This inventory will assist in determining the capacity of the facilities, coaches and programs in local Park and Recreation agencies. It will also assist in developing a grassroots advocacy effort to support public parks and recreation investments that include football facilities.

Your support and endorsement of this project will assist in increasing participation in this landmark inventory. Data from this inventory will be used to develop strategic funding by the NFL Youth Football Fund to expand youth football through parks and recreation. The NFL YFF has over $100 million dollars to support the expansion of quality youth football, and agencies that participate in this inventory will become automatically eligible for notification for this future funding.
