Here’s your chance to share the great work you are doing and to receive your due recognition!

Agencies in the Great Lakes Region of NRPA are invited and encouraged to apply for, or to nominate others for, the five (5) awards to be presented in 2007.

The award categories are designated on NRPA’s Web site with criteria listed for each award. All award applications and nominations are to comply with the following general criteria:

• Submit electronically to Marianne O’Riley, NRPA, at moriley@nrpa.org
• Application DEADLINE is August 9th.
• Applications may not be more than two (2) pages, single space, 12 point typeface, one inch (1”) margin on all sides.
• Letters of endorsement or testimony will not be accepted.
• An application may be accompanied by no more than two (2) digital photographs that are not part of the application document
• With the exception of the Outstanding Professional Award, the program, activities, or projects are to have occurred within the past 36 months.
• Additional consideration is given to situations involving one or more partnering organizations or individuals.

Great Lakes Awards Ceremony
You are cordially invited to attend the Great Lakes Region Awards Ceremony held at NRPA’s 2007 Congress & Exposition (link to Congress website). The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, September 28 at 8:30am at the Indianapolis Convention Center. All applicants are invited to attend for breakfast and the ceremony. The event will conclude by 10:00am.
