Park Management Institute set for Oct. 23-35

The Park Management Institute (PMI) provides intensive, in-depth training for park professionals who aspire to advance their career. Initiated in 1979 using a federal grant through the Intergovernmental Personnel Act, the Institute has continually presented practical and humanistic approaches toward park and resource management. Previous Institutes have focused on such topics as basic supervision, communications, problem-solving, personal change, performance management, effective leadership, and cutback management.
