PowerPoint presentations shared online

Posted on Sunday 19 November 2006

IPRA has joined a relatively new (and free) online service called SlideShare that basically allows for uploading of PowerPoint presentations to their site for viewing by all. The neat thing about this site is that IPRA can embed some script into The Blog Spot and our members can “play” the presentation directly from the blog without having to download any files (similar to the YouTube videos out there).

This first SlideShare presentation is from a recent meeting between leaders of the Recreation Section and IPRA regarding the implementation of their new blog that will eventually replace their static page on the IPRA site.

This could be a great opportunity for IPRA to post presentations from speakers of conference and other educational workshops! What are your thoughts? Don’t you think this could be of great benefit to you as a member who may not have PowerPoint access or the ability to attend some of our workshops? What presentation topics would you like to see posted online? Let us know!
