T-Ball at Wrigley Gets Washed Out

Posted on Friday 21 July 2006

Everyone had a great time on July 20 despite the rainy weather forcing the Chicago Cubs’ management to cancel the park district T-ball games in the outfield.

Over 1,500 tickets to the Cubs game were sold to park district groups through IPRA and 10 park district T-ball teams were scheduled to play games in the outfield. In past years this event has been the highlight of many bleecher bums and kids alike.

Listen to Cubs’ Assistant Director of Ticket Sales, Brian Garza, talk about their involvement with IPRA.
