Over 500 kids from area park districts helped support parks and recreation while attending the White Sox game this week.
Mary Kate, of the Morton Grove Park District, wrote a spectacular essay about her experiences and won the honor of throwing out the first pitch.
If you or your day camps would like to get more involved in an IPRA group outing go to ILipra.org/Resources/grouptickets.cfm or contact Heather Weishaar at IPRA.
Thank You IPRA for making Mary Kate’s dream a reality. She was so excited when we announced her essay as the winner and you can see how much it meant to her to be our representative. Great Job Mary Kate!
