In its third year of providing childcare services for the players’ children, the PGA and IPRA are having a blast! The PGA childcare providers basically travel each week, following the tour, having a good time with the kids. IPRA and their volunteers act as support and coordinate daily trips to Chicagoland attractions. On average, there will be about 60 kids each day having fun at the Wee Western while their dads are out at Cog Hill.
Susan Dittmer, Center Director for the PGA, said working with IPRA and its volunteers is a pleasure each year when coming in for the Western Open. Susan has been traveling with the tour for years and said the accommodations and help provided by the IPRA volunteers is outstanding.
The location of the Wee Western and photographs are prohibited by the PGA. However, the facility is furnished very nicely…made to be a home away from home for the kids.
